What is an STI?

STIs or Sexually transmitted infections (or STDs) are infections that spread through sexual contact, like vaginal, anal, or oral sex.

STIs are common, treatable, and nothing to be ashamed of.

They can spread through:

Skin-to-skin contact: genital-gential, genital-oral, genital-anal
Body fluids: Semen (& presemen), vaginal fluids, blood, anal fluids, breastmilk, and (rarely) saliva.

Caused by bacterial and it can be cured with antibiotics

Viral

Caused by virus and can be treated with antiviral meds

Parasitic/Fungal

Caused by parasite or fungus and can be cured with medicaiton
